Important note on V2G & V2H
The MX7 hardware is V2G-ready and fully compliant with ISO 15118 communication standards. However, AC-based V2G/V2H functions are not yet commercially supported. Real-world V2G depends on vehicle manufacturer readiness, energy provider participation, and grid code certification (such as G99/G100 approval in the UK). Commercial launch will be announced once full certification and partner integration are achieved.

Tethered MX7 — FAQs.
Can I use V2G/V2H with MX7?
Currently, these functions are not commercially supported. AC-based V2G/V2H requires both the vehicle and the charger to be approved by the DNO. MX7 hardware supports ISO 15118; software and certification are still in progress.
What is Intelligent Charging?

Can MX7 integrate with solar PV?
Yes. Auto Solar mode prioritises home energy first, then directs surplus solar power to EV charging.
What's the difference between 5m and 7.5m cable?
Cable length only. The 7.5m version gives extra reach for longer driveways or where the charger sits further from your parking spot. Both deliver 7.4kW.
What does a standard installation include?
Up to 10m cable run, mounting, RCD/MCB/surge protection, certification, DNO + Building Control notification, app registration and demo. See the full process for details.
