Humax MX7 figures from the official Humax MX7 datasheet. Competitor figures taken from each manufacturer's own published specifications (myenergi, Ohme, Hypervolt, Pod Point), correct as of 12/06/2026 and subject to change. A "—" means the manufacturer does not publish that detail; it is not a claim the feature is absent. Always confirm current specifications with each manufacturer.

Running costs

What will it cost to charge your EV?

Pick your car and your electricity rate to see what a charge costs at home on the MX7. Figures are estimates based on each car's usable battery size.

Your car & tariff

Battery size varies by trim — pick the variant that matches your car.
Standard rate from the Ofgem price cap; off-peak is a typical overnight EV tariff. Enter your own to be exact.
Most home charging tops up between roughly 20% and 80%.

Select your car to see the cost.

Battery capacities are usable kWh from the EV Database, correct as of 12/06/2026 and subject to change. The standard rate (24.67p/kWh) is the Ofgem energy price cap for April–June 2026; the off-peak figure (8.70p/kWh) is a typical overnight EV tariff. Costs assume ~90% home-charging efficiency and exclude any standing charge. These are estimates to compare running costs, not a quote — always confirm your car's exact battery variant and your current tariff.
