The Journey
How it works.

Choose your charger
Pick Socket, Tethered 5m, or Tethered 7.5m. Add standard installation at checkout.
- 02
Delivery (1–2 working days)
Order before 12pm on a working day and we dispatch the same day — typically arrives the next working day. Orders after 12pm or at weekends are dispatched the next working day, with delivery within 2 working days in total.
- 03
Booking & site survey
We confirm your site fits the standard installation criteria — house type, meter location, and distance. Installation timeslot provided within a week of booking.
- 04
Installation, demo & handover
A qualified electrician installs, tests, certifies, and commissions your charger. We help you register the Humax Charge app, and DNO + Building Control notification is handled.

Other inclusions
Installation
- Up to 10m cable installation, including data cable for load management
- Charger securely mounted to a brick, plaster, or other permanent wall
- Surge protection, DP Type A RCD, and required MCB installed
- Connection from an existing DP isolator using a Henley block, or from a compliant consumer unit with spare non-RCD way
Setup & Handover
- Testing, commissioning, and full setup of the charger
- Demonstration of charger operation
- Notification to DNO and Building Control, with electrical certification issued
*Additional work may incur extra charges. You can still select the standard installation, and any additional work will be paid directly to the installer.
What's not included
May require a separate quotation.
- Civil or ground works (trenches, ducts, channels)
- Masonry, painting, or plumbing work
- Electrical upgrades to non-compliant or outdated installations
- New electricity supply or meter registration
- Any refurbishment or construction work
